1. About Industry Supplies

Industry Supplies provides industrial products, personal protective equipment (PPE), workwear, uniforms, safety footwear, protective clothing, first-aid products, and other industrial and workplace safety supplies.

Our goal is to provide quality products, reliable service, and competitive pricing to businesses and individuals across South Africa.

2. Product Information

We make every reasonable effort to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, specifications, sizes, colours, and prices are accurate and up to date. However, product images are for illustrative purposes and may differ slightly from the actual product.

Product availability, specifications, and prices may change without prior notice, subject to applicable law and any confirmed agreement with the customer.

3. Quotations and Orders

All enquiries and orders submitted through Facebook Messenger or other communication channels are subject to confirmation by Industry Supplies.

Quotations are subject to the validity period stated on the quotation. If no validity period is specified, please confirm the price and availability before placing an order.

An enquiry or request for a quotation does not constitute an accepted order. Orders are confirmed once the relevant details, pricing, availability, payment terms, and delivery arrangements have been agreed upon by both parties.

4. Pricing and Payment

All prices will be communicated in South African Rand (ZAR), unless otherwise stated. Applicable VAT, delivery charges, and other costs will be specified where relevant.

Payment must be made according to the agreed payment terms. Customers must use the official payment details provided directly by Industry Supplies.

Industry Supplies will not be responsible for payments made to unauthorised third parties or accounts that have not been verified with us.

5. Delivery and Collection

Delivery times are estimates unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing. Delivery arrangements, costs, and collection options will be confirmed during the ordering process.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details and ensuring that someone is available to receive the goods.

If delays occur due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, we will communicate relevant updates where reasonably possible. This clause does not limit any rights customers may have under applicable law.

6. Returns, Exchanges and Defective Products

Requests for returns or exchanges must be submitted through our official contact channels, together with proof of purchase and details of the issue.

Returns, refunds, exchanges, and warranty claims will be handled in accordance with applicable South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008, where applicable.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a customer's statutory rights concerning defective goods, incorrect orders, or other matters protected by law.

Customers should contact us promptly if goods are damaged, defective, incorrect, or incomplete upon delivery.

7. Product Safety and Use

Customers are responsible for selecting products appropriate for their intended workplace, task, and risk environment.

PPE and safety equipment must be used in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, applicable safety standards, and relevant workplace health and safety requirements.

Product information supplied by Industry Supplies does not replace a professional workplace risk assessment or the customer's legal occupational health and safety obligations.

8. Facebook Page Conduct

We welcome respectful communication and genuine business enquiries.

Users must not post or distribute:

• Abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or defamatory content.

• Fraudulent offers, misleading information, or impersonation attempts.

• Spam, unsolicited advertisements, or malicious links.

• Content that infringes another person's intellectual property or privacy.

• Illegal content or material that violates Facebook's policies.

We reserve the right to hide or remove content and restrict interactions where reasonably necessary and permitted by Facebook's rules and applicable law.

9. Privacy and Personal Information

Industry Supplies respects the privacy of customers and page visitors.

Personal information shared through comments, Messenger, quotations, or orders will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), where applicable.

Please avoid posting identity documents, banking details, passwords, or other sensitive personal information publicly. Where necessary, provide information through an appropriate private communication channel.

Personal information will be used for legitimate business purposes, such as responding to enquiries, preparing quotations, processing orders, arranging deliveries, and providing customer support, subject to applicable law.

Unless otherwise stated, content created or published by Industry Supplies, including its branding, logos, marketing materials, photographs, and written content, may not be reproduced or used commercially without prior permission.

Third-party trademarks and product images remain the property of their respective owners.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Industry Supplies will not be liable for losses arising from unauthorised use of our Facebook page, inaccurate information supplied by third parties, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Industry Supplies is not responsible for the independent operation or policies of third-party platforms.
